D.R.O.N.E
Drones have taken the world by surprise for so many years now. The first was the Omnichem 2, invented in 1920 by Etienne Omnichen. For the first quadcopter ever created it lasted 1000 successful flights and flew a record of 360 meters. The Convertawings Model A quadcopter. designed by Dr. George E Bothezat, appeared in 1956. It was the first quadcopter to ever have thrust, roll ,pitch and yaw. All these terms are what controls the actual drone. Without these you can only go up and down and let the wind take it so this was a big step up from the first quadcopter.Technology has advanced quadcopters dramatically. In the past decade, companies like DJ Innovations, Parrot, Walkera, Blade and Heli-Max have launched mini quadcopters that use new technology for flight control and aerial photography. They carry aerial cameras and gimbals to make this possible. Even with new technology what really makes a drone steady is Newton’s third law, there is an equal and opposite reaction. The four rotors, two moving clockwise and the other two, counterclockwise. They stabilize movement and function
Over the years ways drones are used have been upgraded too. From military, to research to commercial or even aerial photography. For military use they invented quadcopters for combat and purposes. Law enforcement agencies also use drones for search and rescue operations. One of these drones is the Aeryon Scout, developed by Canadian Company Aeryon Labs. It has helped uncover drug trafficking rings in Central America. Drones for research are used for gathering information about robotics and flight control. They can go into dangerous places on behalf of researchers. This helps solve many difficulties with. Aerial photography has become a big part of the drone community. From doing it for fun or doing it for a company it is used in a lot of places. Aerial photography is not only used for beauty but for other reasons. If there is a spot you can't get to yourself send a drone up and take a video of different locations that are viewable by humans. Drones have advanced over the course of the years and every year more improvements are made, but the history of drones is something can never be forgotten.
